- Implement, monitor, and enforce all company and project safety regulations.
- Ensure adequate fire and safety equipment is available at the worksite.
- Assisting the Safety Engineer in implementing the safety rules and regulations at the site.
- Making Responsible for investigating, reporting, and suggesting controls for all incidents on-site and to that effect forwarding any necessary reports to the appropriate authority.
- Making sure safety supervision is present during critical or hazardous activities.
- Assist in the investigation of all accidents, injuries, illness, fire property damages and other related incidents and issues. Proper bookkeeping in safety-related matters.
- Implementation and monitoring of onsite training and communication programs such as toolbox talks, site safety inductions, on-the-job training, and weekly / monthly inspections and audits. Assist Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager with audits related to safety.
- Ensures that the company safety rule is adhering.
- Conducting induction courses and toolbox meetings to the workers at the site regarding safety awareness, personal protective equipment, hot work & cold work activities, scaffolding, heavy lifting equipment, power tools, working at heights & excavations.
- Daily inspection of scaffolding and equipment used by the worker to ensure they are good in condition.
- File maintaining at the site like First Aid file, accident report file, file hazard file, machinery inspection file, toolbox meeting file, daily checklist report file, penalty file, etc.
- Conduct assessment and evaluation continuously regarding the performance of the safety staff and aids in the process of promotion.
- Attend and contribute to all site-related safety meetings and activities.
