Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site

Experience: Minimum 3-5+ Years in UAE Healthcare Sector

Role Description:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining health & safety programs in a healthcare setting, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, DHA guidelines, and JCI standards. Key duties include conducting safety audits, leading training sessions, managing incident investigations, coordinating with local authorities, and fostering a culture of safety across the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent safety certifications preferred
  • Must have healthcare safety experience in the UAE
  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, JCI accreditation standards, and healthcare compliance
  • Experienced in safety inspections, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness
  • Skilled in safety documentation, reporting, and incident management
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and clinical safety requirements
  • Strong communication and training facilitation skills
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across departments
  • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident in liaising with DHA, Civil Defense, and other UAE regulatory bodies
  • Proficient in MS Office and safety management systems

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce health & safety protocols aligned with UAE laws and JCI standards
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across hospital departments
  • Investigate incidents/accidents and ensure corrective/preventive measures are implemented
  • Organize and lead staff safety training, emergency drills, and awareness programs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies (DHA, Civil Defense, etc.)
  • Monitor PPE usage, emergency preparedness, and infection prevention practices
  • Stay updated on local/international health & safety regulations and drive continuous improvement
  • Support accreditation readiness and internal quality/safety initiatives

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in safety management software and MS Office Suite
  • Familiar with audit tools, risk assessment templates, and training platforms
  • Knowledge of safety reporting systems and regulatory submission portals

Note : Experiences in Health care sector is mandatory
