Safety officer + NEBOSH

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Female Safety Officer with an Engineering Degree and NEBOSH Certification to join our construction and contracting team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures on construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, company policies, and international safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety training for site workers and staff.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain and update HSE documentation, safety reports, and incident records.
• Assist in preparing emergency response plans and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with site teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Environmental or related field).
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent safety certification.
• Additional certifications such as IOSH or OSHA will be an advantage.
• Minimum 1– 2 years of experience in construction or contracting projects.
• Experience in construction site safety management is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and HSE regulations.
• Good communication
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.

Salary: AED 2500 - 3000/Month
