  • Safety Implementation
  • Enforce company and client HSE policies at site.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and initiate corrective actions.
  • Stop unsafe work when there is a risk to life or property.
  • Prepare and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and HIRA.
  • Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) system.
  • Review method statements from contractors/subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance for high-risk activities:
    • Work at height
    • Lifting & crane operations
    • Excavation & trenching
    • Confined space entry
    • Hot work & electrical work
    • Conduct daily site safety inspections.
    • Inspect scaffolding, lifting tools, PPE, machinery, and equipment.
    • Participate in internal and client safety audits.
    • Track closure of audit observations and non-conformances.
    • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs.
    • Ensure all workers receive site safety induction before starting work.
    • Promote safety campaigns and behavioral safety practices.
    • Report, record, and investigate accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
    • Prepare incident investigation reports with root cause analysis.
    • Recommend preventive and corrective measures.
    • Maintain HSE records and registers.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
    • Maintain PTW logs, training records, inspection checklists, and incident reports.
    • Assist in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 compliance documentation.
    • Assist in preparation of emergency response plans.
    • Participate in emergency drills (fire, evacuation, medical).
    • Coordinate with site emergency response teams.
    • Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and client safety teams.
    • Ensure subcontractors comply with project safety requirements.
    • Communicate safety instructions clearly to the workforce.
    • Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
    • Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety
    • NEBOSH IGC / NEBOSH Construction
    • ADIS / Diploma in Industrial Safety
    • IOSH Managing Safely
    • First Aid & Firefighting certification (preferred)
