Safety Supervisor

Job Description:

• Implementing basic health and safety policies and procedures on site.
• Conduct routine site walkthroughs under supervision to identify obvious hazards and report them to senior safety staff.
• Monitor workers to ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to basic safety requirements.
• Support the preparation and implementation of risk assessments, method statements , and job safety analyses as directed by senior staff.
• Deliver basic toolbox talks and safety briefings using approved materials.
• Report unsafe acts, near misses, and minor incidents to the Safety Officer/Safety Manager.
• Maintain and update safety records, checklists, and daily reports as assigned.
• Coordinate with supervisors and workers to reinforce safe working practices on site.
• Assist during safety inspections, audits, and emergency drills.
• Support day-to-day safety operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant qualification in a related field.
• 2–3 years of basic site experience (construction/infrastructure preferred).
• Entry-level knowledge of HSE practices.
• NEBOSH/IOSH (basic level) preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to communicate with workers and follow instructions effectively.
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision in a site environment.

Job Types: Contract, Permanent, Fresher
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
