Sales Manager Job Description for the Scaffolding and Construction Industry:
Experience: 5 – 10 Years (Preferably in scaffolding, formwork, or construction material sales)
Salary: As per industry standards

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in the scaffolding and construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, developing sales strategies, and ensuring revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in the scaffolding and construction sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, projects, and clients including builders, contractors, developers, and construction companies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts to clients.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with operations, technical, and project teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and present progress to senior management.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements while ensuring profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to meet KPIs and targets.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven sales experience (minimum 5 years) in scaffolding, construction equipment, or building materials.
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding, formwork systems, and construction processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong network of clients in the construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
  • Leadership skills to guide and motivate the sales team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
