Sales Acquisition Team Leader - POS -

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

What You’ll Bring In:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Acquisition Specialists to consistently meet and exceed acquisition targets
  • Implement training programs to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales capabilities in the POS segment
  • Monitor KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement improvement plans where needed
  • Design and execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new SME and enterprise merchants, leveraging deep knowledge of the UAE market
  • Identify and approach key decision-makers in priority sectors including retail, hospitality, healthcare, FMCG, and e-commerce.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversion
  • Work closely with marketing to create targeted lead generation campaigns and with operations to ensure seamless merchant onboarding
  • Build and nurture relationships with merchants to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and merchant needs.
  • Stay updated on UAE market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates in the fintech and payments sector.
  • Provide senior leadership with performance reports, market insights, and recommendations for process improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must be currently based in the UAE with a strong understanding of the local business environment
  • Minimum 5 years in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a sales or business development team
  • Proven track record in fintech, payments, POS systems, or related technology solutions in the UAE
  • Deep knowledge of UAE market dynamics, business culture, and key sectors (retail, hospitality, healthcare, FMCG, e-commerce)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms
  • Experience selling POS systems or similar hardware/software solutions
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED18,000.00 per month
