Job Title: Sales Coordinator – FMCG
Job Purpose: The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team in achieving targets by managing data, preparing reports, coordinating with customers and internal departments, and providing business analysis for informed decision-making. The role requires strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with FMCG sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Coordination & Support
- Assist the sales team in daily operations including order processing, follow-ups, and customer support.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and invoicing.
- Maintain customer records, contracts, and agreements.
2. Business Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports using advanced Excel tools (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, etc.).
- Support management in business forecasting and sales planning.
3. Data Management & Documentation
- Maintain accurate sales data in ERP/CRM systems.
- Ensure price lists, product catalogs, and promotional materials are updated regularly.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a communication link between the sales team, marketing, and operations.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotions, trade offers, and new product launches.
5. Process Improvement
- Suggest improvements in reporting formats, sales analysis processes, and customer service standards.
- Assist in automating repetitive reporting tasks using Excel and other tools.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Advanced MS Excel Skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Power Query, Power Pivot, Charts, Dashboards.
- Business Analysis Knowledge: Ability to interpret sales data, analyze KPIs, and create actionable insights.
- ERP/CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems (preferred).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG sales.
- Knowledge of sales processes, distribution channels, and FMCG market dynamics.
