Located in central Houston this organization pays for lunch daily and you work from home on Fridays! We’re looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team. The Sales Analyst will work as part of a growing, fun and engaging team managing the broker sales channel. This team is critical to building a strong and sustainable sales partner base for the organization, and this position will work collaboratively with multiple internal teams. The Sales Analyst will provide support and coordination among the senior Sales staff, internal Pricing & Operations teams, and our brokers; improving sales efficiency and deal close ratios. This position will allow the individual to regularly interact with many areas within the business such as Pricing, Operations, IT, Customer Service and Legal.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work in tandem with senior Sales staff to support our Brokers and achieve sales targets.
  • Analyze inbound requests for proposals, coordinate responses and planning with internal Sales staff
  • Act as a primary point of contact for tracking opportunities, responding to partner enquiries, and gathering data/ information needed to create competitive bids to serve customer energy needs
  • Effectively manage changes to commercial bids and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage with diverse internal stakeholders to gather feedback and input on commercial decisions
  • Understand each broker's unique business model and implement effective strategies of communication
  • Proactively consult with existing brokers to identify needs and promote commercial products
  • Respond to inbound commercial requests and queries via telephone and email from our broker partners
  • Provide follow-up to pending Broker requests and communicate effective resolution
  • Analyze complex transaction requests, manage the communication between many internal stakeholders, and provide detailed feedback to external partners
  • Develop product, market, and process knowledge to be a resource for our partners
  • Develop and utilize sales skills to manage and influence close ratio of broker business
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by Management


SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Retail energy industry experience preferred but not required
  • Best-in-class written and verbal communication skills
  • Track record of organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to drive results with a strong competitive drive to be the best
  • Ability to analyze information, solve problems and make quick, fact-based decisions
  • Ability to quickly gain proficiency in multiple systems which support customers
