Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager (Exhibitions and Roadshows) who will play a key role in driving stall and table space sales for our travel exhibitions and roadshows. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in selling exhibition space, sponsorships, or event participation—especially within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors. This role demands a motivated, target-oriented professional who can build strong industry relationships and convert opportunities into long-term business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets for exhibition stall sales, table space bookings, and sponsorships.
  • Identify, approach, and onboard prospective clients including tourism boards, airlines, hotels, resorts, travel companies, and travel technology firms.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation, proposal, and negotiation to closure and post-event relationship management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, campaigns, and client communication strategies for exhibitions and roadshows.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of leads through consistent follow-ups, client meetings, and participation in relevant travel trade events.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and trade networking events to enhance visibility and expand client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales within exhibitions, travel trade, event management, or media sales.
  • Proven success in selling exhibition stalls, table spaces, sponsorships, or advertising packages.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the travel and tourism ecosystem, including key stakeholders and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently with a results-driven approach and meet revenue goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel across cities for client meetings and event participation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or Tourism Management.
  • Experience working with international tourism boards or large-scale B2B exhibitions is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of digital and social media marketing for event promotion.
