Job Purpose
The Sales & Services Manager is responsible for developing sales action plan to market and sell the bank's products and services. In addition to achieving established branch goals through active management of sales, officer call programs and cross-selling activities.
Reports to : Branch Manager
Duties and responsibilities
• Develops sales action plan to market and sell the bank's products and services, in coordination with the branch manager.
•Identifies and acquires quality NTB [New to bank] customers through the various selling techniques and activation of referrals.
•Reviews and monitors daily activities related to sales and services to ensure highly efficient and effective results.
•Plans for field work by conducting weekly meetings to schedule sales visits and review performance indicators constantly.
•Submits related sales reports to Branch Manager provided with any required recommendations on a regular basis.
•Coaches and advises subordinates on how to target and increase sales opportunities by providing the necessary guidance and support to promote sales and service driven culture.
•Handles difficult or sensitive customer issues, requests and complaints and act to promptly address and resolve these issues in due time.
•Monitors staff performance and provide improvement opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
•Enforce the clean desk policy and adherence to service quality standards
•Collaborate with the branch's Compliance Officer to provide necessary documents to the requirements of the Compliance Team .
Job specification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration or relevant field
Experience:6–8 years’ banking experience, with at least 3 years in branch sales, retail banking, or relationship management.
•Experience in banking or relevant industries is preferred.
•Proven track record in achieving branch sales targets and growing NTB (New-to-Bank) customer base.
•Strong knowledge of retail banking products: deposits, personal loans, credit cards, payroll, digital channels.
•Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) retail banking rules, AML/KYC requirements, FATCA.
•Experience in sales pipeline management, officer call programs, and cross-sell initiatives.
•Proficiency in core banking systems (Temenos T24, Flexcube, or equivalent) and CRM/sales tracking platforms.
•Analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
•Leadership and coaching ability to develop front-line sales staff and foster a service-driven culture.
•Sales management certifications in banking/financial services is a plus
