Sales Associate

Position Objective:

The Sales Associate serves as a brand ambassador, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while maximizing sales performance. This role focuses on representing our premium menswear heritage and diverse product portfolio, maintaining the highest standards of customer service, and contributing to the store's overall success through professional sales expertise and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Excellence & Brand Representation:

  • Welcome customers with our signature hospitality and assist them in discovering products that align with their style preferences and lifestyle needs
  • Transform casual browsers into loyal customers through engaging product demonstrations and personalized styling recommendations
  • Actively promote our membership program and loyalty benefits to build long-term customer relationships
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our menswear collections, seasonal trends, and complementary product lines across the diversified brand portfolio
  • Provide expert guidance on fabric technologies, garment care, sizing, and styling to enhance customer satisfaction and confidence

Professional Standards & Product Expertise:

  • Always present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Be flexible and available to work extended hours during peak sales periods.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge to minimize stock loss and provide accurate recommendations.

Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation:

  • Ensure products are displayed in an attractive manner according to store layout standards.
  • Adhere to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and stock management protocols, especially for clearance items.
  • Record and maintain accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing stock.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales opportunities.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of product inventory and promotions to communicate effectively with customers.

Operational Excellence & Transaction Management:

  • Efficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for billing and transactions.
  • Balance the cash till at the start and end of shifts.
  • Accurately process payments through cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
  • Maintain vigilance regarding store security and ensure all loss prevention policies are followed.
  • Replenish and re-merchandise stock on the sales floor to ensure product availability at all times.

The ideal Sales Associate should have a minimum High school diploma degree with effective communication and interpersonal skills in order to contribute to a welcoming customer experience, previous experience in a sales role is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,600.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Retail Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
