Sales Associate (part-time)

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally across sales & marketing functions to create a fun, exciting, and memorable dispensary experience for our customers.
• Act as an enthusiastic brand ambassador, driving excitement & engagement, building industry relationships, and identifying influencer opportunities to boost our digital presence.
• Support the marketing team in the field through best-in-class implementation of marketing activations, including but not limited to: ideating & executing in-store & Boston-area events, guerilla marketing opportunities, & social media content creation.
• Work collaboratively with Buying teams to monitor customer trends, identify assortment opportunities, and report on product sell-through to ensure high-demand products are always available & in-stock.
• Ideate & implement promotional opportunities, from flash sales to loyalty programs, to maximize customer engagement.
• Act as a leader in-store to boost sales, encourage staff, & merchandise displays.
• Engage with customers, sharing your expertise and passion to create a great experience.
• Always represent the brand and company in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge and clearly communicate product details and benefits to customers.
• Provide regular reporting & insights to the Marketing & Buying teams.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year retail sales, buying, marketing, or event management experience
• Highly approachable & friendly person who is skilled in relationship building
• Obsesses over detail, with strong analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Highly creative with experience in creating engaging marketing activations
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cannabis sales & marketing
• Professional, positive demeanor with customers and fellow staff members
• Ability to adapt to new rules, regulations, products, systems and team members at any given time
• Well-versed on cannabis products and various methods of consumption
• Knowledge of state rules and the ability to keep the establishment compliant
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a current Marijuana Establishment Agent Registration Card

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
