Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Sales Control Analyst

As a Sales Control Analyst, you will oversee the settlement claims for distributors & modern trade customers while managing a range of operational activities. You will ensure process efficiency, adherence to company policies and seamless communication between distributors and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for proactively driving the claims management process to support distributor cash flow and strengthen commercial partnerships.

Things you will be doing as a Sales Control Analyst

  • Process and Settle claims (Trade offers, off-invoice trade schemes, trade marketing claims, DSF & Distributor incentives) & verify and validate claim documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with Sales & Finance teams to process and resolve claims promptly & maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all claims and related processes
  • Maintain accurate records of all claims and settlements and ensure all claim settlements are conducted in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Ensure accurate recording / posting of expenses through SAP up-loaders
  • Validate reconciliations/claim clearance certificates of distributors/Customers
  • Ensure dashboard reporting & perform any ad-hoc analysis required
  • Drive Modern Trade Customers Rebate Reconciliation and coordination with Finance for timely adjustments & perform Sub-distributor Ledger reconciliation with handler / Company books
  • Perform Period end close activity
  • Act as the primary point of contact for distributors regarding claims and operational issues
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication between distributors and internal departments.
  • Address and resolve any disputes or escalations related to claims
  • Perform secondary system health checks (pricing, cash memo, trade scheme, shops, channel classification)


What are we looking for in you?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Sales Analyst / Operations role within FMCG Industry
  • Effective stakeholder management skills
  • BI Dashboard Reporting & Excel Proficiency (Intermediate level)
  • Solid understanding of claims management & industry best practices
  • Solid knowledge of Sales processes to support internal control systems
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills using the relevant systems & applications (SAP, Secondary systems etc.)
  • Speed and high learning agility
