Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our sales team in managing customer accounts, order processing, reporting, and communication between the company and distribution partners. The ideal candidate will have a background in the manufacturing industry, strong knowledge of distribution markets, and solid experience with computer software, Excel, and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Support & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the sales team and distribution partners for smooth order processing.
  • Prepare sales quotations, proforma invoices, and order acknowledgments.
  • Track order status, delivery schedules, and customer communication.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports using Excel.
  • Analyze sales trends, stock movement, and distributor performance.
  • Maintain customer and product master data in ERP/CRM systems.

Computer & Software Proficiency:

  • Manage records and documentation using MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Operate and maintain data in ERP/SAP/Tally or similar software (as per company systems).
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal meetings.

Accounting Support:

  • Assist in reconciling sales and payment records with accounts.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for invoicing and outstanding follow-ups.
  • Basic knowledge of GST, credit/debit notes, and commercial documentation.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain organized files of sales documentation, client correspondence, and distribution records.
  • Handle typing and formatting of official sales letters and documents with accuracy and speed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Sales Coordinator in the manufacturing and distribution industry.
  • Strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Charts).
  • Knowledge of accounting systems like Tally, SAP, or ERP software.
  • Good typing speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in handling distribution or channel sales operations.
  • Exposure to inventory and logistics coordination.
  • Knowledge of commercial and tax documentation (e.g. GST invoices, e-way bills).

Working Hours:

Standard business hours (e.g., 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), Monday to Saturday
