Sales Coordinator – Roles and Responsibilities

1. Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales orders.
  • Coordinate between clients, sales executives, and internal departments for smooth order execution.
  • Maintain records of client inquiries, orders, payments, and deliveries.

2. Client Communication

  • Respond to client emails and phone calls professionally and promptly.
  • Follow up with clients on quotations, payments, and order updates.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular communication.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare sales reports, MIS, and maintain sales data.
  • Ensure all documents such as purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, etc., are properly filed.
  • Update CRM systems or Excel sheets with daily sales activities.

4. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Liaise with the logistics, accounts, and production departments to ensure timely delivery and billing.
  • Coordinate with vendors or suppliers when required.

5. Administrative Support

  • Schedule meetings, client visits, and appointments for the sales team.
  • Assist in organizing sales events, exhibitions, or promotional activities.

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, BA, or any graduate)
  • Preferred: Degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Additional Advantage: MBA or PG Diploma in Sales/Marketing (optional but preferred)

6. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of CRM software / ERP systems (if applicable)
  • Basic understanding of sales processes, quotations, purchase orders, and billing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
