Job Summary:
The Avid Hotel in Lebanon, TN is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Coordinator to lead our sales efforts and drive revenue growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong community and corporate relationships, and maximizing occupancy through group, corporate, and local market business. The ideal candidate is results-driven, organized, and passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
  • Actively solicit and secure new business, including corporate, group, and local accounts
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships through regular communication and site visits
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Operations team to ensure guest and client satisfaction
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community functions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of hotel sales experience preferred
  • Prior Director of Sales or hotel sales leadership experience strongly preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of hotel sales, marketing, and revenue strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet goals
  • Familiarity with IHG systems and brand standards is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM systems
