Specific Responsibilities:
- To act as the first point of contact for all incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- To actively generate sales by contacting new and existing clients and promoting company products and services.
- To manage the full sales cycle for assigned accounts from initial enquiry to confirmed booking.
- To prepare and issue proposals, quotations, menus, and cost estimates accurately and on time.
- To follow up on proposals and leads to maximize conversion and close sales.
- To achieve individual monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by management.
- To maintain and update all sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- To schedule and coordinate client meetings, site visits, and tasting sessions.
- To liaise with operations, kitchen, logistics, and finance teams to ensure feasibility and smooth execution of events.
- To upsell additional services such as upgraded menus, premium packages, décor, and entertainment.
- To negotiate pricing within approved parameters while maintaining profit margins.
- To prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
- To attend networking events, exhibitions, wedding fairs, and client meetings to generate new business.
- To monitor competitor activity and market trends within the UAE catering and events industry.
- To ensure accurate handover of confirmed events to the operations team with complete documentation.
- To maintain professional relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and wedding coordinators.
- To provide excellent customer service before, during, and after events.
- To handle client concerns and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments.
- To comply with company policies, UAE food safety regulations, and ethical business standards.
- To be flexible and support the sales and operations teams during peak business periods.
Skills and Specification:
- Ability to generate sales and work towards fixed targets and KPIs.
- Strong communication skills in verbal and written English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Ability to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in proposals and quotations.
- Ability to analyze information, prioritize tasks, and solve problems effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Understanding of catering, hospitality, or events industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE market practices and cultural considerations is an advantage.
