Position : Sales Design Consultant

Location : Riyadh – Project based

Type : Full-time


The Sales Designer is a front-facing design consultant responsible for transforming client requirements into executable design concepts that drive sales conversion.

This role blends design consultation, spatial planning, and commercial awareness to enhance customer experience, increase average ticket size, and strengthen Abyat’s brand credibility.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Client Consultation & Design Development

  • Receive and manage design briefs from walk-in or referred clients
  • Conduct detailed requirement gathering (space, budget, lifestyle, preferences)
  • Develop initial layout concepts and space planning solutions
  • Recommend materials, finishes, furniture, and complementary products
  • Present concepts confidently and professionally.


Sales Conversion & Revenue Contribution

  • Drive design proposals toward commercial closure
  • Upsell relevant products and design upgrades
  • Follow up with clients to secure approvals
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Increase average transaction value


Contribution & Technical Alignment

  • Transfer approved concepts to Draftsman Designer for technical drawings
  • Ensure drawings reflect original design intent
  • Coordinate revisions between client and technical team
  • Support Senior Designer in complex or VIP projects


Customer Experience & Brand Representation

  • Deliver premium, consultative client experience
  • Maintain high presentation standards
  • Represent Abyat as a trusted design partner
  • Build long-term client relationships and referrals


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 1–3 years experience in furniture showroom or retail design environment
  • Good understanding of materials, fabrics, finishes
  • Strong aesthetic sense and spatial awareness
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Good proficiency in SketchUp / AutoCAD
  • Proven sales closing experience
