Role Overview

We're looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. In this key role, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to SME owners, understanding their financing needs, and setting appointments for our sales executives. This performance-driven outbound position demands strong communication skills, resilience, and a passion for helping businesses grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and target potential SME customers through research and outbound outreach.
  • Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, and other channels to initiate contact and build interest.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their financial needs, eligibility, and fit for FlapKap’s financing products.
  • Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and FlapKap’s Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and updates in the CRM system.
  • Continuously update product knowledge and market trends to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for outbound activity, lead qualification, and meeting generation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales development, telemarketing, or a similar outbound sales role.
  • Familiarity with B2B sales, financial services, or fintech sectors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and confident phone presence.
  • Ability to handle objections professionally and guide conversations towards setting appointments.
  • Strong self-motivation with a target-driven mindset and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and recording activities.
  • Willingness to work in a high-performance, quota-based sales environment.
