Sales Development Representative

The Role:

This is a high-activity, outbound-first sales role. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, responsible for generating qualified leads through cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outreach and other business development activities. You will work closely with the founding team to refine our messaging, identify target verticals, and fill the pipeline that closes deals. If you are the type of person who thrives on the phone, does not take rejection personally, and measures their day in dials and conversations, this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute 80–100 outbound cold calls per day targeting SMBs, agencies and enterprise teams that would benefit from Product platform.
  • Run structured cold email and LinkedIn sequences to complement calling activity and maximize contact rates with decision-makers.
  • Qualify prospects against defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria and hand off warm leads to senior closers or the founding team.
  • Maintain meticulous CRM records — every call, email and outcome logged accurately and on time.
  • Research target accounts and contacts before outreach to personalise pitches and improve conversion rates.
  • Follow up persistently and professionally across multiple touchpoints until a prospect is qualified, disqualified, or referred.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine scripts, objection-handling playbooks and outreach sequences based on real call feedback.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs for dials, conversations, meetings booked and qualified leads generated.
  • Report daily on activity metrics and flag blockers or patterns to your manager promptly.
  • Represent Product brand professionally on every call and in every message, reflecting our values of reliability, clarity and hustle.

Desirable Skills :

  • Experience booking demos or discovery calls for a closing team (SDR / BDR model).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Basic understanding of CRM hygiene best practices and pipeline reporting.
  • Experience selling SaaS, tech products, or subscription-based services.
