About the Role
Proto-IT Consultants is seeking a dedicated Cold Caller / SDR to support a new Operations & Maintenance (O&M) solar campaign in the Solar / Renewable Energy industry. The role focuses on engaging commercial property owners who already have solar systems installed, with the goal of booking qualified sales meetings.
Responsibilities
- Call prospects from a verified database of commercial properties with solar installations.
- Follow up on positive email replies from outreach campaigns.
- Clearly communicate O&M service offerings (monitoring, servicing, maintenance contracts).
- Log all activities, notes, and outcomes in the shared CRM (Monday.com or client-preferred system).
- Coordinate with email outreach team to ensure messaging alignment.
- Consistently book 2–3 qualified meetings per month with decision-makers (Facilities Directors, Property Managers, Owners).
- Provide weekly reporting on calls, connects, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Excellent spoken English with a neutral or American accent.
- Proven track record in cold calling / telemarketing for U.S. campaigns.
- Industry experience in Solar / Renewable Energy sales or outreach is required.
- Experience engaging B2B decision-makers (facility managers, property owners, etc.).
- Strong communication, objection-handling, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (e.g., Monday.com, HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Detail-oriented in logging activity and following scripts/processes.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
