Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. The SDR will be responsible for identifying, researching, and reaching out to potential clients to generate qualified leads for the business. This role requires excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to build relationships with prospects through calls, emails, and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target industries.
  • Find and contact potential clients independently through online platforms, LinkedIn, directories, and networking.
  • Initiate cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate leads and build interest in company products/services.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business potential and requirements.
  • Schedule meetings or demos between qualified leads and senior sales team members.
  • Maintain detailed and updated records of prospects, leads, and interactions in CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop lead-generation strategies.
  • Understand customer needs and communicate value propositions effectively.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly lead generation and conversion targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or business development (fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also apply).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong research skills for identifying and qualifying prospects.
  • Confidence in handling cold calls and professional outreach.
  • Highly organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and MS Office tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in IT, telecom, or technology sales.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or similar lead tools.
  • Ability to understand technical products and communicate value clearly.
  • Team player with a positive and energetic attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
