What This Role Is About

We are looking for a Director of Sales, based in Cairo, to lead the commercial strategy, growth agenda, and market execution for a large, well-established FMCG organization.


You will drive national sales performance, develop channel strategies, and lead a high-impact sales team to deliver sustainable revenue growth.


This role requires a commercially minded leader with deep knowledge of the Egyptian retail landscape, strong customer relationships, and a track record of delivering results in fast-moving, competitive markets.


You will be responsible for shaping sales strategy, guiding route-to-market excellence, strengthening distributor partnerships, and ensuring flawless execution across all channels.


Your ability to build high-performing teams, unlock new commercial opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally will be key to accelerating business growth.


The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit


  • 12–18 years of experience in sales or commercial leadership within FMCG, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Strong understanding of the Egyptian FMCG market, retail dynamics, and route-to-market models.
  • Proven success in driving sales strategy, revenue growth, and channel performance.
  • Experience managing large teams, distributors, and key customers at a national level.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and business planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
