Sales Director / Senior Sales Manager – CPG (Food & Beverage)

Pianta is a fast-growing food brand under MAG, focused on delivering high-quality, accessible consumer packaged goods to the Egyptian market. We are building a modern, scalable brand with strong retail presence and ambitious expansion plans across Egypt and the region.

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Director / Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) to lead our national sales strategy and execution.


Role Overview

The Sales Director will be responsible for building, leading, and scaling Pianta’s sales operations across modern trade, traditional trade, and key accounts. This role requires deep knowledge of the Egyptian FMCG landscape, distributor management expertise, and a strong track record of revenue growth within food or beverage categories.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Pianta’s national sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Lead and manage distributor relationships across Egypt
  • Drive expansion in modern trade (hypermarkets, supermarkets), traditional trade, and wholesale channels
  • Negotiate contracts and trading terms with key retail accounts
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team
  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance tracking systems
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing to align promotions, launches, and in-store activations
  • Forecast revenue, manage budgets, and ensure profitability targets are met


Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–12+ years of experience in CPG/FMCG sales (food & beverage strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience in Egypt’s retail and distribution landscape
  • Strong relationships within modern trade and traditional trade networks
  • Demonstrated ability to scale brands and grow market share
  • Experience managing distributors and regional sales teams
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
