Sales Engineer

India

Role & Responsibilities:

· Understand customer requirements and propose suitable mechanical engineering solutions.

· Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to support sales efforts.

· Identify new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.

· Generate leads through field visits, industry events, and digital outreach.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns and promotional activities.

· Maintain documentation of client interactions, feedback, and other records.

· Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client communications, and project status.

· Submit timely reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

· Diploma / Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

· 0 - 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the mechanical or industrial engineering sector.

· Familiarity with domestic and international engineering products and market trends.

· Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and components.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to interpret client requirements and offer tailored solutions

· Proficiency in ERP tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms.

· Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

· Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.

· Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to relationship-building.

· Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Preferred)
