Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales Support
  • Understand customer requirements and present technical solutions that meet their needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, including training and troubleshooting.
  • Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory or industry segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in coordination with the sales manager.
  • Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and service teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
  • Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
  • Market & Product Knowledge
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide customer feedback to product development and marketing teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent technical background).
  • Experience:
  • 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering (industry-specific experience is a plus).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of [insert relevant products or systems—e.g., HVAC, steel structures, automation equipment].
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer-service mindset.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
