Sales Engineer

Job Overview:

Desertrose is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Oman. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Horticulture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, with proven experience in sales, client management, and project coordination within the Omani market.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across landscaping, irrigation, construction, and related sectors.

Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate technical and product solutions.

Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and tender documents based on project needs.

Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to support sales efforts.

Coordinate with project and technical teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and clients to drive repeat business.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimize sales strategies.

Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth in Oman.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

4–5 years of experience in Oman in sales, preferably in landscaping, irrigation, or construction-related industries.

Strong technical understanding and ability to translate client needs into solutions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Valid Oman driving license preferred.

Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of managing projects independently.
