Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Activities: Conduct direct sales activities by visiting clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and developing new accounts. The goal is to promote Goltens' services and achieve yearly sales targets.
  • Technical Consultation: Interpret and handle the technical requirements of customers. The Sales Engineer makes technical presentations and demonstrates how Goltens' services will meet customer needs. This includes providing technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Quotation and Contract Management: Analyze market opportunities and prepare accurate and detailed quotations for service projects. This involves coordinating with the operations team to understand technical capabilities, man-hours, and project schedules to prepare a sound offer. The engineer also handles the review of contracts and purchase orders.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market news, trends, competitors, and new technologies in the marine and industrial sectors. This research helps in developing sales strategies to increase market share and meet company targets.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients and handle customer complaints to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports to management, including sales forecasts, budgets, and business development plans.
