Job Purpose:

The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and expertise to the sales team to drive the successful selling of product lines. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role involves understanding customer requirements, delivering technical presentations, and ensuring that product solutions meet client needs. The Sales Engineer acts as a technical liaison between the company and its clients, ensuring a seamless integration of product features and customer specifications.


Key Accountabilities:


Sales Growth & Target

  • Meets Sales targets for the assigned market(s) through our partners and in accordance with the overall policies and objectives.
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, negotiation, objection handling, and winning deals.

Product Knowledge & Market Opportunities Analysis

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s product portfolio, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solutions to prospective and existing customers.
  • Provide input on product configurations, customizations, and technical adjustments necessary to fit client specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Check on the competitor price list.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Builds sales pipeline via customer visits and site visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.

Sales Activities

  • Monitor and follow up on each project delivery time.
  • Follow up and support the payment collection process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for product positioning, market entry, and customer acquisition.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including solution designs, product specifications, and implementation plans.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Manager on sales activities, technical challenges, and customer interactions.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering.
  • 1 -3 years of experience.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Computer skills:

  • CRM, MS office
