Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support our sales operations by identifying customer needs, providing technical solutions, and promoting our products/services. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and negotiation skills to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions in coordination with internal teams.
  • Conduct site visits, understand project specifications, and recommend suitable products/solutions.
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and ongoing projects to ensure successful conversion.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions while ensuring profitability.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on competitor products, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation or relevant field).
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, preferably in GCC.
  • Strong understanding of technical products, systems, or equipment related to the industry.
  • Valid GCC driving license (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
