The Sales Engineer is responsible for selling to various accounts and customers, working to increase our sales/client ratio and expand our customer base to drive revenue growth. Your contributions will be essential in achieving our sales goals and fostering strong relationships with our clients.
Responsibilities

Expanding our business footprint in the market and driving revenue growth by reaching targeted client bases at all levels.

Meeting or exceeding all sales targets and analyzing sales metrics to assess the effectiveness of current strategies.

Identifying business opportunities across various market segments within the industry.

Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key customers to ensure a consistent flow of sales revenue.

Engaging with existing customers through in-person visits, phone calls, and emails to maintain and develop relationships.

Proactively reaching out to potential customers through cold calling to arrange meetings and explore new business opportunities.

Using a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Conducting thorough market and customer research to stay informed and identify opportunities for growth.

Providing clients with accurate and timely cost calculations and quotations.

Ensuring timely collection of receivables and adhering to company policies during price, credit term, and contract negotiations.

Maintaining an updated customer database and monitoring competitors' activities in the market.

Reporting weekly sales updates and visit summaries, while providing daily feedback on sales activities.

Representing our organization at exhibitions and relevant industry events.

Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.

Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
Qualifications

A minimum of 1-3 years working experience in a similar role.

Proven experience in applicable sales area as well as experience in delivering excellent customer service.

Relevant diploma in Sales or Marketing

Certified Sales Professional (CSP) accreditation is advantageous
