Sales Engineer

Qualification:

BE Mechanical with 3 – 5 years’ experience in the field of Rotary Equipment and preferably with Mechanical Seals.

Job Responsibilities:

Selected Candidate will serve customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products (particularly mechanical seals and systems), rotary equipment and services. Travelling to customers spread across the country of Qatar.

Selected Candidate shall perform the following Job Duties:

• Identify current and future customer requirements for mechanical seals by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand mechanical seals requirements.
• Product knowledge (mechanical seals) covering application know how, trouble shooting and failure analysis is a must.
• Hands on experience with installation, assembly and testing of mechanical seals is a criteria of great importance.
• Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests concerning mechanical seals.
• Establish new accounts and service accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
• Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment, engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
• Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
• Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.
• Develop customer's staff by providing technical information and training.
• Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
