Role Overview

The Sales Engineer is responsible for combining technical expertise with sales skills to promote and sell the company’s products or solutions. The role involves understanding client requirements, providing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and driving business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Generate leads and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth

Technical Support & Solutioning

  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions
  • Provide product presentations and technical clarifications
  • Assist customers with product selection and application

Proposals & Tendering

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical submittals
  • Handle tenders, RFQs, and BOQs
  • Ensure proposals meet client specifications and project requirements

Negotiation & Order Closure

  • Conduct commercial discussions and negotiations
  • Finalize orders and contracts with clients
  • Follow up on payments and project progress

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, projects)
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution
  • Maintain client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales or technical sales (industry-specific preferred)
  • Strong understanding of technical products or systems
  • Experience in proposal preparation and tender handling

Preferred / Added Advantage

  • Experience in GCC / Oman market
  • Valid driving license
