We are now seeking a Sales Engineer – Automation Solutions who will play a pivotal role in connecting our innovative technologies with the needs of municipalities, contractors, and industrial clients across Turkey and international markets.


Role Overview:


As a Sales Engineer – Automation Solutions , you will bridge the gap between our technical expertise and our clients’ operational goals. Working closely with the sales and engineering teams , you will design, present, and deliver tailor-made automation solutions that demonstrate OLIPTEK’s value in smart infrastructure and industrial applications.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and qualify automation opportunities in industrial, municipal, and energy sectors .
  • Conduct technical consultations to assess customer requirements and system architecture needs.
  • Design custom automation solutions integrating LoRaWAN, PLC, and IoT systems.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations , product demos , and proof-of-concept (PoC) projects.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D, software, and field engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical training and post-sales support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses , and documentation tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and contribute to the development of OLIPTEK’s product roadmap.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering. (A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales engineering, automation, or technical consultancy .
  • Strong understanding of automation systems including LoRaWAN, PLC, SCADA, and IoT solutions.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP .
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-oriented communication .
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills .
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal) — proficiency in a second language (Arabic, French) is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM tools and structured sales processes is an advantage.
  • No travel restrictions — willingness to travel locally and internationally when required.
  • Residing on the Anatolian side of Istanbul (or willing to relocate).
  • Completion of mandatory military service is required for male candidates.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in lighting automation or energy management systems .
  • Familiarity with automation software platforms and IoT dashboards .
  • Certifications in automation, networking or project management are desirable.
