Sales Engineer - Construction Chemicals

Vertex Chemicals Private Limited, formerly known as Pagel Pakistan, is a leading manufacturer of high-quality chemicals for improving, protecting, repairing, and decorating construction projects. Founded in 2007, Vertex is proud to have executed some of the most iconic structures of Pakistan including hydropower dams, numerous skyscrapers, major infrastructure, leading industries, and power stations. 


Role Objectives

To strengthen Vertex Chemicals’ on-ground sales execution in Karachi by supporting active projects, expanding site coverage, and assisting in the promotion of construction chemical systems across infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects.

This role is designed for a promising, technically grounded field professional with a background in civil engineering, who is willing to learn, execute, and grow under close guidance while building strong site-level relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site visits across Karachi to support ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Assist in developing relationships with contractors, site engineers, and project teams
  • Promote Vertex construction chemical solutions including:
  • Concrete admixtures
  • Waterproofing systems
  • Repair mortars and grouts
  • Sealants and basic flooring / protective systems
  • Identify project requirements and coordinate internally for technical support and solutions
  • Support product trials, demonstrations, and site applications in coordination with technical teams
  • Ensure disciplined follow-ups, quotations, and order execution
  • Maintain basic site visit reports, customer records, and opportunity tracking


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
  • 1–4 years’ experience in construction, site execution, or construction chemicals sales
  • Prior exposure to construction chemicals is highly beneficial
  • Strong understanding of construction practices and site operations
  • Energetic, disciplined, and willing to spend most of the day on site
  • Coachable, dependable, and execution-focused


Success Metrics

  • Consistency and quality of site coverage
  • Responsiveness and follow-through on assigned accounts and projects
  • Conversion of trials and site leads into orders
  • Accuracy of reporting and internal coordination
  • Month-on-month contribution to Karachi region sales
