Role Objectives
To grow Vertex Chemicals’
resin flooring and industrial coatings business
by directly engaging
end-user organizations
and driving project opportunities from concept to execution. The role focuses on understanding industrial operating environments, proposing technically appropriate flooring and coating systems, and converting opportunities into executed projects through Vertex’s in-house application team.
End-Use Business Development
-
Develop and manage direct relationships with
industrial end users
, including:

FMCG & food processing plants
-
Pharmaceutical & healthcare facilities
-
Chemical processing, refineries, and manufacturing units
-
Warehouses, logistics hubs, cold storage facilities
-
Utilities, power plants, and infrastructure assets
Technical Solution ownership
-
Conduct
independent site surveys and condition assessments
(substrate, moisture, chemical exposure, traffic, hygiene requirements)

Recommend appropriate
resin flooring systems
(epoxy, PU, anti-static, hygienic, heavy-duty) and
industrial protective coatings
(epoxy, PU, polyurea, corrosion protection)

Act as the
first technical interface
for clients prior to formal involvement of R&D or application teams
Project Conversion and Coordination

Drive opportunities from
concept → proposal → trial → execution

Coordinate
mock-ups, pilot areas, and trials
with Vertex’s application team(s)

Support preparation of
system build-ups, BOQs, method statements, and technical submittals

Ensure disciplined
follow-ups, approvals, pricing alignment, and closures
Knowledge & Continuity

Absorb and retain
project knowledge, client history, and system learnings
previously managed by the outgoing resource

Maintain structured
project tracking, CRM updates, and technical documentation

Support internal handover and continuity to avoid single-point dependency going forward
Candidate profile

4–8 years’ experience
in resin flooring and coatings
-
Proven track record with
industrial end-user projects
, not contractor-only selling

Strong practical understanding of:

Epoxy & PU flooring systems

Surface preparation and moisture management
-
Industrial exposure conditions (chemicals, abrasion, hygiene, traffic)

Confident in
independent site handling and technical discussions

Highly field-oriented, structured, and accountable

Mature enough to
own a vertical
, without requiring constant supervision
