Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the smart home automation sector. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in smart home systems with strong sales and relationship-building skills to provide tailored solutions to clients across the UAE.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and end-users.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and technical solutions to clients.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.

Technical Consultation & Support

• Provide technical expertise on smart home systems, including lighting automation, HVAC control, security, audio-visual, and IoT integration.
• Conduct product demonstrations, site surveys, and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure accurate implementation of solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest smart home technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Project Coordination

• Assist project teams during the design, procurement, and installation phases.
• Ensure client requirements are correctly translated into system specifications and installation plans.
• Provide post-sales support and troubleshooting to maintain client satisfaction.

RequirementsEducation & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in sales or technical pre-sales within smart home automation, building automation, or AV systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of smart home automation systems: lighting, HVAC, security, audio-video, and IoT platforms.
• Understanding of networking, PLC, and home control protocols (KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave, BACnet, etc.) is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong client-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in UAE or GCC markets.
• Familiarity with project management and CRM tools.
• Professional certifications in smart home systems or automation technologies.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
