We are expanding our Abu Dhabi team to strengthen regional business development and support growth across key sectors.

Role Summary

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving business growth, technical sales, and customer relationship management for weak current systems. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and secure projects across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and the wider GCC.

Key Responsibilities

● Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and GCC markets.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, developers, consultants, contractors, and government entities.

● Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and system design discussions with clients.

● Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, and compliance documents aligned with international standards.

● Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure feasibility, accurate costing, and timely delivery.

● Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve sales revenue and gross profit targets.

● Maintain regular communication with international vendors and distributors (e.g., Honeywell, Kidde, Cisco, Motorola, Commscope, Tyco).

● Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sector opportunities (oil & gas, hospitality, industrial, power, infrastructure).

● Represent Fescom Middle East at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows.

Required Qualifications & Experience

● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

● 3–5 years of proven experience in sales of weak current/ELV systems.

● Strong technical knowledge of Fire Detection (EN54, NFPA), IP CCTV, Access Control, Electronic Security, PAVA, Structured Cabling, and Network Systems.

● Proven sales track record in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or GCC.

● Ability to prepare technical/commercial offers, BOQs, and compliance documentation.

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in multicultural environments.

● Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

● UAE driving license and residency in Abu Dhabi (or willingness to relocate).

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with system integrators, MEP contractors, or multinational distributors.

● Established contacts within government entities, real estate developers, consultants, hospitality, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.

● Technical certifications in fire alarm detection, IP CCTV, network, access control, or related weak current systems.

● Hands-on experience with solutions from Cisco, HP Aruba, Honeywell, Bosch, Avigilon, Tyco/Johnson Controls, Legrand, Commscope.

● Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PMI, PRINCE2) or sales certifications.
