We’re looking for Sales & Events Administrator professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales & Events Administrator, you’ll be responsible for responding to and qualifying all incoming leads through various channels and assigning them to the appropriate sales manager for follow-up. You will provide on-site support for activities such as site inspections, event management, organizing FAM tours, tour groups and general office administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Respond to and qualify all incoming leads through various channels and assign them to the appropriate sales manager for follow-up.
  • Provide on-site support for activities such as site inspections, event management, organizing FAM tours, tour groups and general office administration.
  • Attend and report on all communication meetings inclusive of both Resume and BEO.
  • Respond to special requests.
  • Preparing and executing amenities.
  • Managing day use bookings and internal meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Need

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or hospitality; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of hotel sales and resort operations experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Opera Sales and Catering and PMS systems preferred.
  • Microsoft Office computer literacy required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to delegate and handle multiple priorities.
  • Self-Motivated and results oriented.
  • Team player to assist with obtaining new business.
  • Must have valid US Driver’s License.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with previous experience in hotel operations as well as to those with working knowledge of OPERA, Ideas, and Microsoft Office.

What to Expect
Must be available to work some nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Adapt to seasonal changes around the resort and special events.
