Sales Executive

Karachi, Pakistan

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within local and international markets.
  • Generate qualified leads and set sales appointments to boost business closing rates by providing sales with qualified, ready-to-engage leads
  • Leverage cold calling and/or lead generation experience to communicate with a high daily volume of potential clients
  • Promote company services including ocean, air, and road freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and value-added services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct client visits to present services and close deals.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders.
  • Collaborate with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update CRM systems regularly.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to adapt sales strategies.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients and resolve any disputes or issues.
  • Report weekly sales activities, leads, and progress to the sales manager.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation and multimodal logistics is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel frequently for client visits, sometimes on short notice.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods when working on a computer or attending meetings.
  • Physically able to carry promotional materials, laptops, and documents to meetings/events.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for local travel is preferred.
