Job Description: You will be responsible for identifying and securing participation from Indian fashion brands and manufacturers for our upcoming international exhibitions. You will play a key role in expanding our network and establishing strong partnerships within the Indian fashion industry.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential Indian fashion brands that align with our exhibition's theme and target audience.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract Indian brands to participate in the exhibition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Indian fashion industry, including designers, retailers, and industry influencers.
- Conduct outreach and sales pitches to prospective brands, presenting the benefits and opportunities of participating in our exhibition.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with potential exhibitors, ensuring mutual satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics and ensure a seamless experience for participating brands.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to exhibitors throughout the pre-event, during the event, and post-event phases.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify new opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of the Indian fashion market, including key players, trends, and consumer preferences.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively with a global team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional languages are a plus.
- Availability for occasional travel within India and internationally
