Job responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell welding consumables to both existing and new customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory or industry segments.
- Achieve sales targets and expand market share for welding consumables.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, distributors, and dealers.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Resolve customer issues related to products, delivery, or quality in a timely manner.
Technical Support & Consultation
- Recommend suitable welding consumables based on applications, material specifications, and job conditions.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to resolve product or application issues.
- Provide product demonstrations, training, and guidance on best welding practices.
Order & Quotation Management
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and finalize orders.
- Monitor and manage the sales cycle from inquiry to delivery and after-sales follow-up.
- Ensure timely collections and payment follow-up with clients.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Analyze competitor products, pricing strategies, and market trends.
- Provide feedback to management on product performance and market demands.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in sales of welding consumables or industrial products.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and recommend suitable products.
- Customer-focused approach and problem-solving attitude.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Valid Qatar Driving License.
