  • KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across assigned outlets.
  • Monitor credit limits and ensure timely collection of outstanding dues.
  • Control wastage and returns to protect margin.
  • Track daily sales performance and report deviations proactively.

Customer

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GT retailers and store owners.
  • Ensure product availability, stock rotation, and FIFO compliance at customer locations.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Educate customers on new products, promotions, and merchandising standards.

Internal Business Process

  • Execute trade promotions and activations in line with marketing plans.
  • Ensure planogram compliance and shelf visibility as per brand guidelines.
  • Provide accurate market intelligence, competitor activity reports, and pricing feedback.
  • Ensure proper handling of company assets (e.g. freezer units, POSM).

People

  • Coordinate with merchandisers and delivery teams for seamless execution.
  • Participate in monthly sales reviews and product knowledge sessions.
  • Support onboarding of new retail partners and outlets.
  • Uphold company values in all customer and internal interactions

  • QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • A diploma with strong experience in GT sales may also be considered.
  • 2–3 years of experience in General Trade sales, preferably in the FMCG or ice cream category.
  • Experience managing small grocery, convenience, or mini-mart accounts is essential.
  • Previous experience handling branded freezer units or cold chain products is a strong advantage.
