Key responsibilities
- Lead generation and client acquisition: Identify and approach new customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Sales presentations and product knowledge: Conduct presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs to showcase products or services.
- Negotiation and closing: Negotiate terms like price and delivery and finalize sales contracts.
- Client relationship management: Manage a portfolio of existing clients, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling.
- Market analysis and reporting: Gather customer information, analyze market trends, and prepare sales reports to inform strategy and track performance.
- Sales target achievement: Work towards and meet or exceed monthly or annual sales quotas.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Event representation: Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to generate leads and build brand awareness.
- Negotiation and closing: Ability to balance client needs with company goals to close deals.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Strong ability to communicate value and build relationships with clients.
- Problem-solving: Ability to recognize and address issues that arise during the sales process.
- Technical proficiency: Competence in using CRM systems and other digital tools to manage accounts and track progress.
- Product knowledge: A deep understanding of the products or services being sold to effectively answer questions and convince customers.
