Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting the company’s products or services. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client accounts, achieving sales targets, and providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development
- Identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell the company’s products or services to target customers.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Upsell or cross-sell products and services to maximize revenue.
- Maintain regular contact with clients via calls, emails, or meetings.
3. Market and Product Knowledge
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and value proposition.
- Provide market feedback to management for product or service improvement.
4. Reporting and Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
- Follow up on quotations, orders, and payment collection as required.
5. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and operations to achieve business objectives.
- Support sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
- Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 1–5 years in sales or business development (depending on level).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, negotiation, and account management.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of individual sales targets and revenue goals.
- Number of new clients acquired and business opportunities generated.
- Customer satisfaction and retention levels.
- Timely reporting and follow-up on sales activities.
