Position Title: Sales Executive

Employment Type: Full-Time

1. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and drive revenue growth through direct sales activities. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities in the software and IT sector. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, strong relationship-building capabilities, and proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will leverage existing connections within both public and private sectors to accelerate business development and establish Netaq as a trusted solution provider in the market.

2. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the software and IT domain, focusing on both public and private sector clients.
  • Develop and execute targeted prospecting strategies to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Leverage existing professional networks and connections to identify decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct needs assessment meetings with potential clients to understand their business requirements and challenges.
  • Present software solutions in a manner that directly addresses client pain points and business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and responsiveness.
  • Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure.
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria to ensure focus on high-potential opportunities.
  • Develop customized sales proposals and presentations with support from the presales team.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing while maintaining profitability objectives.
  • Work towards and achieve assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the presales team to ensure seamless solution scoping and proposal development.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and technical presentations with presales specialists.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to ensure proposed solutions are competitive and well-supported.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports detailing pipeline status, deal progress, and target achievement.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts of revenue and deal closures for management review.

3. Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of proven sales experience in the software and IT domain.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Experience selling enterprise or mid-market software solutions is highly valued.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles and large-value deals.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with both public and private sector clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong understanding of software and IT solutions, including SaaS, enterprise software, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and business technology requirements.
  • Fluent English language proficiency (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Proven connections with public sector organizations (government agencies, ministries, public institutions).
  • Proven connections with private sector organizations (corporations, enterprises, SMEs).
  • Established relationships with decision-makers and procurement professionals.
  • Ability to leverage networks to open doors and accelerate business development.
  • Preferred Arab nationality to facilitate communication and relationship-building within the region.
  • Ability to work in the designated location and travel as required for client meetings
