Job Description: Sales Officer – Paint Industry

Job Summary

The Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling paint products in assigned areas, developing strong relationships with dealers and contractors, achieving sales targets, and expanding the company’s market presence. The role involves regular market visits, order collection, payment follow-ups, and coordination with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell decorative and/or industrial paint products in the assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, painters, and contractors
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Conduct regular market visits to generate new business opportunities
  • Ensure proper product display, branding, and visibility at dealer shops
  • Collect orders, coordinate deliveries, and ensure timely supply of products
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure recovery within credit terms
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
  • Handle customer complaints and provide after-sales support
  • Prepare daily visit reports, sales reports, and market feedback
  • Coordinate with sales managers, accounts, and logistics teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or relevant field preferred)
  • 1–3 years of sales experience in the paint or building materials industry
