Job Title: Sales Executive / Area Sales Manager (Heat-Resistant Rubber Thread)

​Location: Kerala, India

​Reports to: Sales Manager / General Manager

HQ: Trivandrum/Palakkad

Job Summary:

​The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and market growth our product rubber threads within the assigned territory/clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing and nurturing existing client relationships, and providing technical support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the B2B sales and exposure in rubber and textile and chemical industries will have an added advantage. The candidate must have; excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

​Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

​Identify and target new potential customers in relevant industries (e.g., textiles, medical, automotive, and specialty applications).

​Generate and qualify sales leads through cold calls, networking, and industry events.

​Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

​Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

​Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability.

Client Relationship Management:

​Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.

​Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions from the product range.

​Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.

​Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

​Collaborate with the technical service team to provide after-sales support and product care advice.

Technical and Product Knowledge:

​Possess a strong understanding of rubber thread properties and the product applications.

​Be knowledgeable about the manufacturing processes of rubber threads.

​Provide technical guidance to customers on product specifications and usage.

​Stay informed about industry developments, product innovations, and quality standards

Reporting and Administration:

​Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and prepare regular sales reports for management.

​Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budget planning.

​Maintain an updated customer database and sales pipeline.

​Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Qualifications and Skills:

​Education: Bachelor's degree/MBA in Marketing, Engineering

​Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales role, preferably in the rubber, textile, chemical or related industrial goods sector.

Soft Skills:

​Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

​Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

​Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.

​Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

​Strong organizational and time-management skills.

​Proficiency in Malayalam, English, and Hindi preferred, Knowledge of other Indian local languages is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
