Sales Executive - Autoparts

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Executive to join our Auto Parts division. This role is not just about selling. it requires someone who knows the market inside out. The ideal candidate should already have strong connections with workshops, retailers, and dealers, and be able to identify what customers really demand.


The Sales Executive must bring:

  • Practical market knowledge: clear understanding of which spare parts move fast, which items are slow, and what customers will not buy.
  • Product awareness: familiarity with car makes and models, matching parts to vehicles, and advising customers on the right solutions.
  • Commercial acumen: insight into prevailing market prices, acceptable margins, and trade terms.
  • Competitive intelligence: awareness of competing brands, their positioning, and how Salama Auto Parts can differentiate.


This combination of relationships + real market expertise is essential to drive sustainable daily orders and strengthen Salama Auto Parts’ presence in a highly competitive spare parts market.


Key Accountabilities


  • Drive Sales Generation – Actively visit workshops, dealers, and retailers daily to promote Salama Auto Parts products, convert visits into orders, and achieve set sales targets.
  • Ensure Market Coverage & Expansion – Maintain strong presence in assigned territory, ensure consistent customer visits, and open new accounts to expand market share.
  • Apply Product & Market Knowledge – Leverage understanding of car makes/models, fast-moving SKUs, pricing trends, and competitor offerings to guide customers and maximize sales.
  • Build Customer Relationships – Develop trust-based relationships with mechanics, shop owners, and purchasing managers to secure repeat business and loyalty.
  • Maintain Pricing & Margin Discipline – Ensure orders follow approved price lists, protect margins, and avoid unauthorized discounts.
  • Provide Market Intelligence – Report on competitor pricing, promotions, and market activities to support management decision-making.
  • Coordinate for Order Fulfillment – Work with branch sales team and logistics to ensure stock availability, timely delivery, and smooth customer experience.
  • Promote New Products – Actively introduce and push new Salama SKUs (e.g., coolants, radiators) and educate customers on benefits.


Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

  • High school certificate acceptable with proven market experience.
  • Strong understanding of automotive spare parts market in KSA (workshops, retailers, distributors).
  • Knowledge of car makes and models and ability to match correct parts.
  • Familiarity with fast-moving vs. slow-moving SKUs, pricing structures, and typical trade margins.
  • Awareness of competitors’ products, pricing strategies, and promotions.


Minimum Experience (no. of years)

  • Preferred bilingual but Arabic is a must
  • Minimum 4–5 years’ outdoor sales experience in automotive spare parts (mandatory).
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Established customer relationships and network in the market.


Job-specific Skills and Competencies

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with ability to close deals daily.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Market intelligence gathering and reporting ability.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, sales reporting tools).
  • Valid KSA driving license (mandatory).


Work Location: Primarily field-based; frequent visits to workshops, retailers, and distributors across assigned territory.

Work Hours: Standard working hours as per company policy, with flexibility required to meet customer schedules (including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if needed).

Travel: Daily travel within the city/region; occasional inter-city travel depending on market coverage.

Environment: Predominantly outdoor role; significant time spent in customer premises, markets, and on the road.

Physical Demands: Requires mobility, extended periods of standing or driving, and carrying product samples/catalogues.

Reporting: Daily reporting of sales activities, market intelligence, and order status to the Sales Manager/Branch.

Tools & Support: Mobile phone, sales app/system access, and transportation allowance/fuel provided by company
